Bottle gourd (LAUKI) Kofta



Ingredients:
lauki-250 gm
rawa--4tbsp
red chili powder-1/2 tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
coriander powder-1tsp
garam masala -1tsp
green chili-2
ginger-garlic paste-1tsp
onion-2 grated
tomatoes-2 pureed
potato-1boiled and mashed
salt to taste
oil
coriander leaves-for garnishing

Method:
peel and grate lauki.squeezed out the water little.add green chili,1/2tsp garam masala green coriander, 1/4 coriander powder,rawa and salt.mix well and make balls according to ur choice.heat oil in a pan fry them on low fire so that they fried properly.when u put kofta in oil at that time oil should be more hot after that slow the fire.

For Garvey:
heat oil in a pan add grated onion. when transulat add ginger garlic paste fry till become brown.add tomato puree fry till oil leaves the sides.now add mashed potato to it.fry for 1 minute.3 cup water and let it to simmer. stire in between cover it when oil comes out on curry it means curry is ready.
if the kofta are very soft then when served put kofta in the dish and pour the hot curry on them . garnish coriander leaves.kofta will be ready till u serve the meal.
Eat with chapati,nan or rice!!!!!!!!



TIP
I here use the suji (RAWA) instead of besan u try it by using rawa kofta will never be hard.

1st anniversary&200th post

200th post

Hi friends my blog completes one year I connect with 223 friends and page views cross more than 57000. This was possible with ur support of giving encouraging valuable comments and ur visits to my blog .
 I am
 thankful to all and hope this support will continue in future also though I start my blog little late but in the last one year I learnt many things from others, met so many friends and its as good as we met personally. Blogging taught me how it is best and creative to pass our time and share and learn things from others.

Today I posting this simple tooti-fruity cake Ingredient :

maida-2 1/2cups
sugar -1cup
refined oil or butter-1cup
eggs-4

curd 2tbsp
baking powder-2TSP
baking soda-1/2 tsp
TUTI -FRUITY-1CUP
vanilla essence-1tsp

Method:

Mix eggs oil and sugar and blend in the mixi for five minutes 2-3 times. Add essence and curd and blend for 1 minute.Sieve the flour and baking powder and soda.Now add flour in the batter in one pan.Mix well with wooden spoon.

Bake for 9 minutes in microwave. test it with any stick.
Easy and ghat pat cake is ready.Cool it.

Paneer Pasanda


Ingredients;
paneer-200gm
onion2small
ginger garlic paste
cornflour-2tbsp
pumpkin&watermelon  seeds-2tbsp make paste after soaking
coriander powder-1tsp
garam masala-1/4 tsp
red chili powder--1/4 tsp
kasoori methi-1tsp
tomato-2
salt to taste
oil
coriander leaves for garnishing


Method:
make thin paste of cornflour .add little salt into the paste.cut paneer into square pieces.dip the paneer pieces in cornflour paste and shallow fry in non-stick pan.
boil onion,tomatoes in 1/2 cup water.when soft keep it aside for cooling.grind it and make smooth paste.
heat oil in a pan add ginger garlic paste fry for1minute.add onion paste and fry it another 2niute or it leaves the oil.add all the dry masalas except garam masala.mix well.add seeds paste&ksoori methi.fry again for 1 minute.add paneer and 1cup water& cover it and cook for 5 minutes so all the masalas is coated on the paneer

when done add garam masala and garnish with coriander leaves
Eat with nan or tandoori roti!!!!!

Blackgram(black cheakpea) curry

As we know that black grams are rich in minerals and vitamin This is known as horse's food so we can imagine how nutritious value in it.
Ingredients:
black gram-200gm
onion-2 finely chopped
ginger garlic paste-1tbsp
tomato puree-2tbsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
red chili powder-1/2 tsp
coriander powder-1tsp
garam masala-1/4 tsp
salt to taste
coriander leaves
beasan-1tbsp
potato-1 cut into small pieces



Method:
soak chana overnight.pressure cook it with its water and little salt for 15 minutes.
heat oil in a pan and fry onion when transparent add ginger garlic fry till rawness of garlic gone.add beasan and fry it for 2 minutes.add all the masalas except garam masala and fry.add tomato puree fry till leaves the sides of pan.now add this masala to pressure cooker and mix it well with boiled chana.add potato to it. pressure cook it for ten minutes on slow fire.open the lid and add gram masala. garnish with coriander leaves
Eat with chapati or rice!!!!!!!
Tip
using beasan enhance the taste of curry.

Cornflour Raddish Pratha

This is a very famous and likable dish for punjabis.










Ingredients:

Maize flour- 1 cup

Raddish - 1 grated

Green chillies - 1 chopped

Oil for frying

Thyme (Ajwain) -1/2 tsp (about thyme)

Salt to taste

METHOD:



Mix all the ingredients except oil. Add water and make soft dough. Make a ball and place it on a plastic sheet. Spread it with fingers by tapping it and replace it directly on the flat pan. Roast it with oil on a slow flame.

Enjoy this Punjabi pratha with curd or fresh white butter or fresh milk cream.

Mix veg with brown lobhia witout onion&garlic







Ingredients


Brown Lobhia: 1/2 cup, soaked for two hours and boiled

Veg: Gobi, carrot, peas, beans chopped and steamed

Shimla Mirch [Capsicum]: 2

Tomato puree: 1/2cup

Ginger: 1 inch piece

Coriander powder: 2 teaspoon

Green chillies: 2 - 3

Garm masala: 1/2 teaspoon

Turmeric powder: 1/2tsp
Cooking Oil: 2 tablespoon
Jeera [cumin] seeds: 1teaspoon
salt to taste
Paneer: 100gm, cut in small pieces
Green coriander for garnishing


Method
dPour oil in the pan, add jeera seeds. Once it becomes brown, add coriander powder, turmeric powder, green chillies to it. After 2 minutes, add tomato puree and grated ginger and stir till the oil is separated.
Add all vegetables, paneer, lobhia and salt and cook for 10 minutes.
When it is done, add garam masala.

Garnish with coriander and paneer.
Serve hot with chapatis or prathas.
In this recipe i use brown lobhia which very rih in protein

Khasta Kachori

This is the street chat of north specially U.P..There is not any party ,marriage or function without kachori ITis crispy use as snack with chutney or we make chat using white matter In every form it is yum.I shared with u all the friends those are from south. i hope  like it.try it!!!
Ingredients:
maida-200gm
ghee or oil-60gm
thyam(ajwain)-1/2 tsp
For filling:
urd(dhuli)-100gm
coriander-2tbsp
fennel seeds-2tbsp
hing-1/6tsp
red chili powder-1/4 tsp.
ginger-1tspfinely chopped
coriander leaves-1tbsp
salt to taste
oi for fry

Method:
Wash dal and soak for 3-4 hours.Grind it coarsely without water.
Roast coriander and fennel seeds.Grind it coarsley.Now add all the ingredients in a dal and mix well.
Heat 1spoon of oil in a pan and fry the dal mixture.When dry switch off the stove and cool it.
Add ajwain and oil in maida and knead it like puri dough.
make ball and flatten it on palms take dal mixture and fill in the ball.Now gather it and seal the edges.roll on rolling pin not much .It is thick than puri.Fry it on slow fire It takes time to fry .
Eat with green or tamrid chutney with cup of tea    or make a chat like alloo tikki.

Mango pachdi/Chutney&Awards


This is the season of mangoes.In many blogs we see the different innovative recipes of mangoes.this my 2nd recipe of mango which i feel to share with my friends ,easy and quick.goes with any meal.Ya it is mango chutney.

Ingredients:
mango(raw)-2
onion-2
red chili powder-1tsp
sugar-2tsp
salt to taste

raw mango
Method:
Wash the mangoes ,peel it and grate it Mix all the ingredients in a mixi  jar and grind it coarsely.
It is ready to eat
Eat it with any meal but with pulav it is yum !!!!!!!!!!

Mango cake with twist

 


Ingredients:
rawa(wheat)-1cup roasted
rice flour- 2tbsp
del-monte mango fruit drink-2cup or more can be used
sugar 1/2 cup or depend on the sweetness of mango
oil or ghee-1/2 cup
almond flaks-1/4 cup
Bakingpowder-1tsp
baking soda-1/4 spoon




Method
Mix all the ingredients except mango pulp and keep aside for 10 minutes so that rawa will becomes smooth.
Heat mango drink in a pan and boil in a slow fire &reduce it to half.keep aside till cool
Now mix mango pulp to it.Mix well .If batter is thick add more juice to make it cake consistency.Brush the baking dish with oil and pour the batter to it.spread the almond flaks on the top.bake in microwave for 6-7 minutes
So here yummy and ghatpat cake is ready to eat!!!!!!!!!
