Spinach with dals.....different style


I am posting this recipe as i see one event winter vegetables . I used chana dal and urd dal with spinach.It is delicious and can be tried for different taste. this dish oftenly prepared by my friend i tasted in her house and relish it so share with u all.As in winter spinach we get very soft and fresh. It comes out as dal.
Ingredients
spinach-1big bunch
black haif urd dal-1/2 cup
chana dal-1/4 cup
ginger garlic paste-1tbsp
onion-1finely chopped
tomato-1chopped
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
red chili powder-1/4 tsp
coriander powder-1/4 tsp
hing-pinch of
green peas-2tbsp boiled
salt to taste
oil2tbsp

Method
wash spinach and cut it. wash both dals and mix with spinach. pressure cook it with little water& salt,turmeric for  5-6 minutes after one whistle on slow fire. when all the pressure released mash  coarsely with electric masher.Now heat oil in a pan ad hing and  fry onion when changed color add ginger garlic paste.Add all the dry masalas and fry. now add tomato and peas and when oil leaves sides add mashed spinach to it .mix well. it is ready to eat.use little cream or deshi ghee on top.
EAT WITH CHAPATI OR RICE......
